Another photo from the hotel suite we stayed at in Seattle a few weeks ago. I made a quick lighting change to get this noir effect. She has a great look that fits the classic femme fatale archetype.

I don’t think I’ve posted many photos from this set with Velocity. After the shoot at my home studio about a year ago, I took her to the motel she was staying at. It was actually kind of a classy but trashy place, but it fit our purpose of shooting in a run down room. Subscribers and trial members can view the full photo set at Zivity.
Here’s a fun fact: Velocity is the model that unknowingly put me in the hospital. Well, it’s not her fault. Before the photo shoot I loaded up on caffeine and took some allergy medication too. Nothing serious happened but I didn’t feel right the next day.

This is a random shot/outtake from last year in Seattle. There was a mess of clothes and bags on the floor behind her (and I think that’s my camera backpack on the chair) but when I saw this, I loved the the connection of her eyes as she hid her face with the mask. Now that I see it, this photo is kind of a callback to a photo we did in 2009.
I’m planning a trip to Seattle in May and we’re set to meet up again while I’m there. A couple of my wilder photo shoots have been with Kendra and her friend Jenna. By the end of the night this photo was taken, everyone was passed out in bed… and I was only wearing a name tag for some reason…
