“Memory of Little Happiness”
embellished 5″x7″ oval print in a hand painted frame
Believe it or not I found this frame at a Hobby Lobby. It was the only one and I had to have it. It was white though. So I painted it to gave it this aged, antique effect. Then this little sketch became the cute but creepy thing I wanted to put in it. I didn’t want to ruin the original drawing though. Instead I toned the image in Photoshop, printed it, and did a little more to it by hand before cutting it down to fit the frame.

Someone's the Wolf

When I was in Portland, Oregon last month Velocity invited me to do a photo shoot at her apartment. It’s a pretty well preserved place that was built in the 1920′s. It’s rare to find French doors like these in apartments today.

It seems like it’s been a while since I’ve done something in my more graphic, illustrative style. Much of my more recent artwork has been loosely referenced off photos. So you definitely see my comic and anime influences when drawing freehand. I also brought back a “character” I used in the painting “Mad Season”.
